A normal Frostline visit. The whole flow from initial call to a working fridge takes a single working day for around 80% of bookings. Below is the actual timeline we publish to customers, with average times measured from our last twelve months of jobs.
Domestic fridges and combo freezers are about 70% of the work. Built-in and wine cabinets take longer because of the cabinetry, and we charge accordingly. Commercial cold rooms and walk-in freezers are by appointment — these jobs need both technicians and a truck.
Standalone refrigerators, top-mount and bottom-mount freezers, French-door units. Compressor swaps, gas recharges, thermostat replacement, door seals, defrost system, and PCB faults. Same-day in most cases.
Integrated panel-ready units and tall wine cabinets — Sub-Zero, Liebherr, Miele, Gaggenau. Repair without cabinetry damage is the slow, careful work. Takes longer, but the panel goes back on the way it came off.
Restaurant cold prep, deli display cabinets, ice machines, walk-in freezers and chillers. Service contracts available with priority response, on-call after hours. We carry spare condenser fans and contactors in the van.
